George Gary Boaen

George Gary Boaen, 54, died Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was born on October 25, 1954 in Savannah, GA. He was self employed. He was predeceased by his father, John M. Boaen, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Adams Boaen of Savannah, GA; his daughter, Crystal Boaen Lovett Jamie and his grandson, Cody Baker of Thorsby, AL; his mother, Lucy Anderson Boaen; brother, John M. Boaen, III Lynn; his aunts, Mary Hinely and Annette Anderson, both of Savannah, GA; cousin, Carter Anderson, III Christine of Orange Park, FL; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and Robert Brooks of Savannah, GA; his sister-in-law, Alice Werntz Gil; nephews, Anthony Scott Boaen and Bobby Boaen Kim and great nephews, Bailey, William and Daniel, all of Martinez, GA.

Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery with the Rev. Ervin Smith officiating.

Gary and I have been friends since we were kids.I didnt find out till yesterday that he had passed.I am so saddened.My heart goes out to Nita and all his family. Gary I will miss you buddy.
